Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment, including House of Blues Dallas, is seeking a friendly host to welcome guests, seat them promptly, and manage wait times in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist with menu knowledge, event details, and VIP handling while maintaining a clean host area. Prior POS experience and strong customer service are preferred; flexible hours and standing for long shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Must have strong guest relations and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant setting.
• Flexible hours and extended standing periods required.
• Knowledge of House of Blues history and events preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests with a positive, friendly attitude.
• Control guest flow and manage waiting areas for tables.
• Provide information about menus, venue, and events to guests.
• Maintain host stand cleanliness and organize seating area.
• Coordinate with door staff, kitchen, and managers for smooth operation.
• Assist with marketing literature placement and VIP/ special event coordination.
