Job summary

Kesem is seeking a Philanthropy & Prospect Development Coordinator to support major gifts and foundation fundraising. You will build prospect pipelines, prepare grant materials, and manage donor and funder relationships, working closely with the Director of Philanthropy and Revenue Intelligence to turn data into fundraising opportunities.

This fully remote role requires 2+ years in nonprofit fundraising, strong research and writing, and experience with CRM systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• At least 2 years in nonprofit development, prospect research, foundation relations, or related field.
• Strong research, writing, and editing skills for donor materials and grant proposals.
• Excellent organization, deadline management, and attention to detail.
• Experience with CRM and maintaining accurate relationship records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain donor and foundation portfolios, opportunities, and next steps with accuracy.
• Prepare donor briefs, proposals, and grant materials for leadership review.
• Coordinate chapter foundation applications, renewals, and reporting.
• Track grants, reporting requirements, and stewardship commitments.
• Develop repeatable prospecting and fundraising processes to improve efficiency.
