Kesem is seeking a Philanthropy & Prospect Development Coordinator to support major gifts and foundation fundraising. The role builds prospect pipelines, prepares LOIs and reports, and advances donor relationships in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in nonprofit development, prospect research, or grant writing.
• Strong writing and editing skills for donor materials and proposals.
• Excellent organization and deadline management.
• Ability to synthesize donor information into clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain foundation grants calendar with prospects, applications, renewals, and deliverables.
• Prepare and submit routine renewals, LOIs, reports, and donor materials.
• Draft proposals, budgets, and reports for Director review on complex opportunities.
• Maintain donor and foundation portfolio records with tracking and next steps.
• Coordinate donor meetings, site visits, and stakeholder engagements.
• Support fundraising operations and collaborate across teams to ensure compliance.
