Waymo is seeking researchers to advance robotic and ML capabilities for embodied AI agents in a hybrid role reporting to a Senior Research Scientist. The work spans cutting-edge research, collaboration across teams, and production-ready deployments with large-scale data and evaluation pipelines.

Candidates should have a Masters in CS/ML/Robotics, strong Python skills, and experience with modern DL frameworks, plus prior ML model development in industrial or research settings.

Qualifications

• Experience with modern deep learning frameworks (Pytorch/JAX/TensorFlow).
• Prior work in ML models research or industry applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and extend research in robotics and ML for embodied AI agents.

• Drive model development via data, evaluation, and systems.
