Waymo is seeking a skilled machine learning expert to join the Driver Understanding and Evaluation team. You will develop models that evaluate autonomous vehicle behavior and build scalable ML infrastructure to support production workloads.

You will collaborate across teams to bring state-of-the-art ML to production systems and simulations. The role follows a hybrid work schedule and reports to an Engineering Manager.

Qualifications

• BS in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years building production ML models.
• Proficient in Python and C++, with production systems experience.
• Deep learning background and track record of model quality.
