Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health seeks a Foundation Development Officer to maximize philanthropic opportunities by engaging with major philanthropists in the local community. Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience in a team-selling environment.
• Bachelor's degree plus 1–3 years in business development, sales, fundraising or related fields.
• Experience in planned giving instruments.

Responsibilities

• Owns a sales/development portfolio and manages fundraising goals.
• Develops strategies with Foundation leadership for fund development and donor engagement.
• Identifies high-level prospects and investors and steward them for ongoing support.
• Meets or exceeds annual fundraising targets and maintains donor retention.
• Manages relationship strategy for all prospects and investors in the portfolio.
