Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Estimator/Engineer to develop preliminary structural and geotechnical designs for deep foundation and shoring systems and translate those designs into accurate construction cost estimates. The role collaborates with Operations, Project Management, and field leaders to ensure designs are sound and estimates reflect field realities.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree with five+ years in design/estimating for deep foundations or heavy civil projects, and are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Five+ years in structural/geotechnical design for deep foundations.
• Experience estimating foundation drilling/heavy civil work.
• PE license preferred; design-build/assist experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop preliminary designs for CIDH, auger cast, and other piles.
• Size foundation and earth-retention systems and prepare calc packages.
• Create bid-ready estimates with material/labor/equipment takeoffs.
• Coordinate with engineers and field teams for constructibility.
