Job summary

Brayman Construction in Saxonburg, PA is seeking an Estimator for the Foundation Division. The role involves organizing bid items, conducting quantity take-offs, and pricing based on industry practices, with daily interaction across estimating management and project operations.

Qualified candidates will have a BS in Civil Engineering or related field, plus at least two years of PM/Estimating experience, and foundational knowledge of geotechnical and foundation systems.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 2 years in project management or estimating.
• Experience in foundation construction projects (caissons, etc.) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize bid items and take-offs for foundation projects.
• Develop pricing with methods and industry practices.
• Coordinate with estimating management and operations staff.
• Solicit quotes from vendors/subcontractors meeting specs.
• Review quotes and provide pricing evaluation summaries.
• Visit project sites to understand conditions and attend pre-bid meetings.
• Develop preliminary construction schedules from plans and specs.
