YouthNet is seeking a Case Aide to support foster youth and their families across the Pacific Mountain region, including Grays Harbor, Lewis, Mason, Pacific, and Thurston Counties. The role involves transportation, community activities, and ensuring safety within service plans.

Ideal candidates have experience with children, a valid WA license, and strong communication skills. Evening/weekend flexibility is preferred to meet youth needs.

Formación

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid WA driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Must pass a WA criminal check and FBI fingerprinting if required.
• High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
• One year of experience with children and families or two years of social services education.
• Ability to work with children with challenging behaviors.
• Basic understanding of family systems and child development.
• Strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with diverse groups and populations.
• Team player with ability to communicate crisis information clearly.
• Proficiency with standard computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office).

Responsabilidades

• Build relationships with clients by engaging in recreational activities.
• Plan activities aligned with treatment goals, interests, and budgets.
• Provide transportation to appointments and activities in the Pacific Mountain region.
• Offer enrichment activities in the community or foster home.
• Communicate with foster parents and Case Managers about time spent and progress.
• Complete Case Aide Reports and Time Sheets accurately.
• Follow safety guidelines and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Adjust assignments to meet supervision needs of children.
• Attend staff meetings and mandatory trainings.
