Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, retain, and supervise foster volunteers and place foster pets in suitable homes.
  • Maintain foster volunteer records and schedules; prepare department reports.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and LHS policies.
  • Organize and conduct foster training aligned with the organization’s mission.
  • Provide support to foster volunteers for their foster pets.
  • Coordinate with the medical team on foster pets needing care.
  • Promote fostering through community outreach and social media.
