Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field with two years of related experience.
• BSW or MSW degree and Virginia Social Worker license desirable.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required.
• Must complete IS100 and IS700 NIMS training within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Makes comprehensive assessment of families/clients in crisis.
• Analyzes needs and coordinates resources to support the family/client.
• Develops action plans with family/client input and follows through.
• Engages family/client and community in problem solving and goal achievement.
• Provides counseling and referrals to improve living and interpersonal skills.
