Job description

Join to apply for the Foster Care Supervisor role at Children's Hope Alliance.

Using the Teaching-Family Model, the Foster Care Supervisor provides primary supervision of case management services for children and youth placed in Children’s Hope Alliance foster care programs, including family foster care, therapeutic foster care, and IAFT. The role ensures services are delivered according to accreditation, licensing, & regulatory standards, and that key performance indicators are met. The supervisor upholds Children’s Hope Alliance values, including fiscal responsibility, outcome-driven practices, family & child-centered approaches, and mission orientation.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Administrative Management
  • Participate in department leadership and daily operations.
  • Maintain program census within approved budgets.
  • Implement the Teaching-Family Model, including facilitative administration, training, coaching, & evaluation.
  • Complete all preservice and annual training requirements, including Teaching-Family Model training.
  • Monitor performance using agency tools and ensure compliance with the Program Manual.
  • Develop formal partnerships with referral sources and improve stakeholder communication.
  • Coordinate with licensing staff on foster parent training and licensing.
  • Screen referrals, coordinate placements, and assist with placements when needed.
  • Provide case management services during staff shortages or vacancies.
  • Lead monthly case consultation meetings, reviewing Teaching-Family Model interventions and clinical assessments.
  • Demonstrate cultural and age-specific competency.
Foster Family Supervision
  • Conduct monthly phone contacts and quarterly home visits with foster families.
  • Assess foster parent skills for placement suitability and licensing readiness.
  • Assist with foster parent training and certification evaluations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.

Salary Expectations

Typically hired at the midpoint of $55,000-$68,000, depending on qualifications and other factors.
