Job summary

Boys Town is seeking a Foster Family Services Consultant in Omaha, NE. This full-time role involves coordinating foster care placements, developing individualized service plans, and guiding foster families to help children thrive.

You will collaborate with educators, counselors and community professionals, respond to emergencies, and support reunification or aftercare services. A Bachelor’s in Human Services and at least 1 year of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Human Services or related field required.
1+ year experience working with children and families.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Willingness to provide crisis response and work non-traditional hours.

Responsibilities

Coordinate foster care placements and develop individualized service plans.
Set and evaluate short- and long-term goals for each child.
Monitor and support foster families through regular visits and training.
Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and community professionals.
Respond to client emergencies and assist in reunification or aftercare services.
Serve as a role model reflecting Boys Town mission.
