Job summary

SCO Family of Services is seeking a WWK Recruiter to implement a child-focused recruitment model for foster care children without identified permanent resources. You will manage cases, collaborate with caseworkers, and build networks to support adoption readiness.

Responsibilities include maintaining caseloads, conducting referrals, meeting with children monthly, performing case reviews, and attending WWK events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; or MSW preferred.
• At least 1-2 years of Case Work or Case Management experience in foster care is required.
• Approved background clearances and fingerprinting are required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and CONNECTIONS.
• Bilingual abilities are strongly encouraged.
• Valid U.S. driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain active caseloads of 12-15 children and an average total caseload of 18.
• Conduct initial referral services by contacting the child’s caseworker and scheduling an initial meeting.
• Meet with each child in person at least monthly to build openness and trust.
• Conduct in-depth case record reviews and document findings.
• Develop an adoption readiness assessment for each child and update quarterly.
• Build a network with people connected to the child and maintain regular contact.
• Attend all Wendy's Wonderful Kids summits, conferences, and trainings; participation required.
• Submit monthly statistical reports and progress notes within specified timelines.
