Job summary

Professional Services Group in West Allis, WI is seeking a Placement Specialist to join the Placement Referral Unit and help locate suitable out-of-home placements for children. You will conduct background searches, maintain databases, document activities, and complete client intakes, collaborating with county/state programs.

The role is full-time with a 12:00PM-9:00PM schedule and rotating after-hours on-call.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field preferred.
• One year of experience in Child Welfare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct family member/non-relative background searches.
• Update and maintain client databases daily.
• Work collaboratively with County and/or State programs and other agencies.
• Document all case activities.
• Complete client phone intakes.
