Qualifications

• Master's degree in a field approved by the State Department of Social Services (Master is Social Work) is required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Valid California Driver's License.
• Health clearance and tuberculosis test required.
• DOJ, FBI and Child Abuse Index fingerprint clearance.

Responsibilities

• Review potential resource family's file upon assignment of home study.
• Schedule and conduct interviews with family and relevant individuals within specified timelines.
• Perform psychosocial assessments (SAFE home study) through multiple face-to-face interviews.
• Prepare, certify, and submit full SAFE home study assessments for supervisor review.
• Maintain weekly case consultations with supervisor and complete documentation.
• Assist with day-to-day office operations and provide trainings as required.
