Job summary

Meritan, a Tennessee-based nonprofit, seeks an Entry Level Case Manager to support foster families and children across the state. In this full-time role, you will advocate for the child, assess health and social needs, and connect families with essential services around Jackson and the state.

You will work with a dedicated Specialized Foster Care team, interfacing with community partners, and may assist with adoptions and home studies as appropriate in the foster care system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral or social sciences or related field required.
• Experience in child welfare or foster care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for foster children and families in the state foster care system.
• Assess health and social needs on initial and ongoing bases.
• Coordinate linkages to community partners and service agencies.
• Support and facilitate adoptions and home studies where appropriate.

Education
