State of Indiana is hiring a Foster Care Case Manager in Indianapolis to license foster families, support Family Case Managers, and improve placement outcomes for children.

You will recruit, license, train, and support families, expand foster care capacity, and provide excellent customer service while working with Marion and surrounding counties. Residency in the service area is preferred.

Qualifications

• Credentials include an associate degree with related human services experience or equivalent education options.
• Experience in social work, casework, and child protection practices is required.
• Ability to work with diverse families and coordinate across programs.

Responsabilités

• Investigate reported child abuse/neglect and determine substantiation with dispositions.
• Assess risk to children and arrange placement in a safe environment as needed.
• Perform needs assessments and develop treatment plans for families and children.
• Develop case plans to promote self-sufficiency and permanent homes.
