Job summary

CK Family Services in McKinney, TX is seeking a dedicated Case Manager to support foster care and adoption programs. You will develop program structure, supervise foster/adoptive families, ensure compliance with state licensing standards, and guide families through the adoption process.

The role requires strong organization, diplomacy, and the ability to manage documentation, coordinate therapeutic services, attend hearings, and communicate with DFPS, schools, and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and relevant experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication abilities.
• On-call pager or phone responsiveness as needed.
• Reliable transportation to fulfill duties.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Professional conduct and confidentiality in all interactions.
• Ability to perform under stress and adapt to changing situations.
• Proficient with basic computer skills incl. data entry and office software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement program structure for foster care and adoption.
• Supervise foster/adoptive families to ensure licensing compliance.
• Lead families and guide through the adoption process.
• Complete and update paperwork for child care in the home.
• Coordinate therapeutic services and document related items.
• Attend PCs, court hearings, ARDs, and psychiatric appointments as required.
• Maintain regular communication with supervisor and DFPS.
• Liaise with school personnel and foster/adoptive parents.
