Job summary

Buckner Children and Family Services is seeking a DFCA Case Manager in Dallas to coordinate and provide services to foster children, foster families, and foster adoptive families. The role emphasizes thorough documentation, licensing compliance, and collaboration with schools and care providers.

You will conduct home visits, supervise cases, and participate in planning to enhance family stability. Strong English skills are required; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field is required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ related experience in child welfare or family services.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as required.
• Strong written and verbal English; bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing case management for foster children and families.
• Coordinate services with schools, agencies, and foster parents.
• Complete documentation to meet licensing requirements and Buckner policies.
• Attend meetings, home visits, and court hearings as needed.
• Develop and monitor plans of service to increase stability and safety.
• Provide crisis intervention and aftercare coordination as required.
