Job summary

The Christian Children's Home of Ohio is seeking a passionate Foster Care Coordinator to support foster children and families in the Wooster, Ashland, Holmes and Tuscarawas areas. This position involves providing case management, family support, and communication.

Key responsibilities include facilitating placements, conducting regular home visits, and providing mental health services. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and an active Ohio Social Work license (LSW) is

Qualifications

• Two or more years working with children and families preferred.
• Foster care experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to CCHO's statement of faith and code of conduct.
• Assist with intakes, facilitating placements of foster youth.
• Conduct regular home visits to meet the needs of foster youth and families.
• Provide excellent customer service to foster families and placing agencies.
• Provide case management services for youth in the home/community.
• Coordinate mental health services for foster children and families.
• Participate in team meetings, clinical supervision, and training activities.
• Timely complete and submit all required clinical documentation.
• Rotate on-call duties for after-hours crisis management.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Social Work

Active Ohio Social Work license (LSW)
