Job summary

Tejano Center is seeking a Foster Program Case Worker in Houston to provide case management and support to children in foster care and their families. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field preferred, including nine semester hours in family and individual dynamics.
• Two years of full-time experience in a licensed child placing agency for applicants without a human-services degree.
• Minimum one year of experience in a child placing agency under supervision of a Child Placing Administrator.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management and support services to children in foster care and foster families.
• Coordinate services, monitor placements, and ensure compliance with licensing standards.
• Collaborate with CPS and community partners to promote safety and permanency.
• Maintain accurate, auditable records and prepare reports as required.
