Job summary

Ideal candidates hold a BSW or related degree, Michigan licensure is preferred, and experience in child welfare is a plus. Strong documentation, communication, and independent work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related human services field is required.
• Michigan licensure is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in child welfare is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing a dynamic caseload.

Responsibilities

• Case management and ongoing advocacy with foster children and families.
• Coordinate placements and court involvement.
• Maintain case documentation and ensure program compliance.
• Collaborate with referral sources, courts, agencies, and community partners.
