Job summary

StepStone Family & Youth Services seeks a Foster Care Case Manager to deliver case management services and family counseling under supervision. You will develop treatment plans for children and families and maintain regular contact with foster families, children, and biological families, ensuring progress and compliance.

Responsibilities include training and supervising foster families, performing home studies, and generating progress reports while coordinating with courts and placing agencies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, sociology, psychology, counseling, or related human services field.
• Two years’ experience working with children and families.
• Five years’ experience with a placing agency may substitute for a graduate degree.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of case management services, individual and family counseling and training and supervision of foster families.
• Develop individual treatment plans for troubled children and their families.
• Maintain weekly contact with foster families, children, and bio-families and monitor progress.
• Prepare written treatment plans and progress reports.
