Job summary

The Children’s Home Society is seeking a Placement Specialist to deliver permanency and foster/adoption services, including therapeutic placements and case management for children and families. You will maintain records, coordinate visits, and collaborate with the team to ensure compliance and high-quality care.

The role involves data entry, quarterly visits, and community outreach to recruit and support foster families, with occasional evenings and weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work required; MSW preferred.
• 2–5 years of child welfare experience.
• Experience with case management and foster/adoptive services.
• Knowledge of ethics and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive foster and adoption services to CHS clients and contracted clients.
• Maintain records on licensed homes and perform case management visits.
• Facilitate placements, visits, and prepare for audits and licensing reviews.
• Collaborate with supervisors, recruit and support foster/adoptive families.
• Enter data into Echo/Binti by month end and support CQI activities.
