Job summary

Family Resources in Dubuque, IA is hiring a Foster & Adoption Caseworker - Licensing/Support to guide families through licensing, home studies, and permanency services. You'll build trusting relationships with children and caregivers, develop plans for success, provide in-home support, and coordinate resources with community partners to help prevent placement disruptions.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field, at least 1 year of experience, and a valid driver's

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of related experience.
• Valid driver's license in good standing and required auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a motor vehicle record background check.

Responsibilities

• Guide Families: Support licensing, home studies, and permanency services for foster/adoption.
• Build Meaningful Relationships: Develop trusting connections with children and caregivers.
• Create Plans for Success: Identify needs and map resources and strategies.
• Be There When It Matters: Provide in-home support and crisis response.
• Connect Families with Resources: Help access education, training, and community resources.
• Collaborate for Better Outcomes: Work with HHSS, Juvenile Court, and partners.
• Stay Connected: Travel to meet families and attend meetings.
