Job summary

Four Oaks is seeking an experienced Caseworker to provide licensing services in Buchanan and Delaware counties, IA. This full-time role requires a Bachelor's degree and up to 50% travel, with duties including home studies, licensure recommendations, and support for Resource Families.

Responsibilities cover pre-screening, training delivery, referral matching, and permanency planning, with regular travel to meetings and homes as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Behavioral Sciences or related field required.
• Knowledge of foster care and adoption systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre-screening activities for potential foster families.
• Writes home study assessments and recommends licensure/adoption approval.
• Meets contract requirements for supportive contacts for Resource Families.
• Supports Resource Families to maintain child stability.
• Provides pre-service/in-service training as requested.
• Assists with match referrals and placement processes.
• Assesses placement options and permanency needs.
• Travels to stakeholder meetings, homes, trainings as needed.
