Sam Houston State University seeks an Assistant Director III for FORWARD in Huntsville to direct program activities, oversee case management, and coach students with foster care experience to improve academic and social outcomes.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree; a master’s degree is preferred; six years in related fields and two years in case management are desired. This is a full-time exempt position with campus leadership responsibilities.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required; master’s preferred.
• Two years of case management experience with intake assessments and service plans preferred.
• Six years of related field experience required.
• Additional education may substitute for experience.

Responsabilidades

• Direct program activities of the FORWARD program.
• Provide case management and oversight for programming, referrals, and coaching of students in FORWARD.
• Develop relationships with external agencies to support students’ college success.
• Consult with faculty and staff on student needs, interventions and progress; coordinate workshops and training.
• Oversee data collection and reporting; ensure progress monitoring and follow-ups.

Bachelor’s degree in related field
