Itero Group in Chicago seeks an experienced Forward Deployment Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy modern software solutions for financial services clients. You will work directly with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical architecture.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in software engineering with strong full-stack expertise in TypeScript, React, Python, REST APIs, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience and full-stack capabilities.
• Strong expertise with TypeScript, React, Python, REST APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Experience delivering cloud-native applications and enterprise integrations.
• Hands-on with Git, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Consulting experience working directly with clients to gather requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable full-stack applications.
• Participate in client meetings to understand business challenges and deliver solutions.
• Develop web apps using React, TypeScript, Python, and cloud technologies.
• Build APIs, integrations, and enterprise workflows.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate into technical solutions.
• Prototype and deliver AI-assisted development solutions.
• Develop AI-enabled applications utilizing LLM technologies.
• Contribute to architecture, solution design, and technology decisions.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
