Glocomms is seeking a Forward Deployed Software Engineer to build data-driven apps leveraging IoT, cloud, and enterprise data systems. You will partner with customers, product teams, and engineering to deliver scalable software with real-time visibility across supply chain operations.

You will develop Python-based applications and microservices, design APIs, and integrate real-time and batch data flows with cloud teams.

Competenze

• 3–6 years of software development experience in backend or full-stack environments.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Apache Spark.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Strong debugging, system design, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in agile development environments.
• Based in NYC or willing to work a hybrid schedule.

Our client is seeking a Forward Deployed Software Engineer

This individual will work closely with customers, product teams, and engineering stakeholders to deliver scalable software solutions that provide real-time visibility and insights across supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:
