Job summary

Accenture seeks a Forward Deployed Scientific Informatics Consultant to help clients transform their laboratory operations using AI-enabled solutions. You will engage with scientists, gather requirements, and design end-to-end data and workflow platforms across regulated and non-regulated environments.

The role emphasizes collaboration across technology and life sciences domains, with travel up to 50% and strong emphasis on impactful, scalable solutions in R&D and manufacturing settings.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in scientific and laboratory informatics.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Laboratory Science or CS/Engineering.
• A minimum of 2 years of consulting experience.
• Experience with life sciences R&D, QC, or IT.
• Experience with Benchling, Revvity Signals, Waters CDS/SDMS, Dotmatics, LabVantage, LabWare, SampleManager, Scitara or TetraScience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver AI-enabled, end-to-end scientific informatics solutions for clients across industries.
• Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops to capture needs and translate them into specs.
• Develop and maintain project documentation including requirements, use cases, and design docs.
• Assist in regulatory-compliant design and implementation of lab information systems and data workflows.
• Advise on data architectures and integrate data across laboratory environments.
• Coordinate across waterfall and agile project management activities.
• Travel to client locations up to 50% as required.
