Job summary

Ultimate Knowledge seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer who writes code and operates distributed systems across cloud and on-prem environments. You will embed with customer teams to ensure complex platforms run reliably in real-world settings.

You’ll ship code, build tooling, and debug failures across GitOps, networking, and IaC. Must have active DoD clearance, strong communication, and willingness to travel to Orlando, FL for engagements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a software engineer in backend or platform roles.
• Proficient in at least one modern backend language (TypeScript, Java, Go, Python).
• Hands-on experience deploying Kubernetes workloads in production.

Responsibilities

• Ship code and build tooling for distributed systems.
• Debug distributed failures and optimize for real-world environments.
• Collaborate with customer teams to deploy and operate cloud-native platforms.
