Job summary

Accenture is seeking a highly motivated Forward Deployed Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and operate custom web applications across AWS, Azure, and On-Prem environments. You will configure APIs and datasets, and contribute to cloud infrastructure deployment using Terraform and AWS CDK.

The role requires Linux, Python, Docker/Kubernetes, React/NodeJS experience, and 3+ years in full-stack/platform engineering, with travel up to 100% depending on client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
• Minimum of 3 years of full-stack engineering w/ minimum of 1 year experience with at least four of the following: Linux Systems Administration, Python, Docker / Kubernetes, or a modern JavaScript framework (like React or NodeJS), DevOps.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a platform engineering or developer role.
• Minimum of 3 months of experience with IaC tools, e.g. Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, deployment, and operational management of custom web applications across AWS, Azure, and On-Prem environments.
• Configure, manage, and optimize custom APIs and datasets; contribute to cloud infrastructure deployment and maintenance using IaC tools such as Terraform and AWS CDK.
• Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues, optimize system performance, and provide guidance to technical users while collaborating with clients and internal teams.
