Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Forward Deployed Software Engineer to deploy and support products globally, taking ownership of technical solutions from early lifecycle to iterative improvements. The role requires coaching teammates, guiding account managers, and communicating detailed recommendations to engineering teams.

You will work on critical defense software across hardware, software, and networking, ensuring smooth field operations and high system availability.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel to Asia Pacific up to 50% of the year.
• Strong engineering background from industry or school (CS, SWE, Mathematics, or Physics).
• Experience with Go, Rust, or Python.
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Experience building software solutions with significant data processing and analysis.
• Ability to understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases.
• Desire to work on critical software with real-world impact.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and support Anduril’s products globally, guiding users through usage and troubleshooting.
• Coach teammates on systems you’ve gained familiarity with and transition to mastering the next system.
• Guide account managers on how to structure operations for technical success and product refinements to engineering teams.
• Develop and implement operations and logistical plans for various events to ensure mission success.
• Maintain high availability and performance of air defense systems and update documentation.
