Job summary

Anduril Industries in California is seeking engineers to join the AD&S Mission Systems Software team. You will build distributed, low-latency software that connects autonomous systems to a 3D command and control center powered by Lattice OS.

The role covers cradle-to-grave development, collaborating with hardware and systems teams to deploy in field environments. Willingness to travel up to 30% and eligibility for U.S. security clearances are required.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in CS, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.
• 2–3+ years of production-grade C++, Rust or equivalent in a Linux environment.
• Experience building low-latency, high-performance software.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with Git & GitHub.
• Experience taking software from initial development through fielded deployment, with cross-team collaboration.
• Travel up to 30% of time to build/test/deploy capabilities in real world.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
• Track record of high ownership and bias for action.

Responsibilities

• Own cradle-to-grave distributed mission software development.
• Support the full lifecycle from concept simulation to live operations.
• Coordinate with hardware, systems, and program management teams.
• Develop services that integrate with Lattice OS and fleet-wide control.
• Task and manage mission payloads and effects in field environments.
