Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Forward Deployed team focused on defense programs. You will lead 8-12 engineers, own end-to-end delivery, and scale the team through hiring and mentorship.

You will set technical direction across engagements, build scalable delivery practices, and review architectures to ensure successful deployments of vehicle intelligence platforms. This high-visibility, customer-facing role requires strong collaboration with defense customers

Qualifications

• Production-grade software experience deployed to active customers.
• Excellent customer-facing and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record mentoring engineering talent.
• Strong background in software, OS, and some hardware.
• Experience supporting integration and deployment of complex systems.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 8-12 Forward Deployed Engineers and own end-to-end delivery.
• Hire, develop, and set technical direction for engagements.
• Build repeatable delivery practices to scale across projects.
• Review architectures and pressure-test integration approaches.
• Represent Applied Intuition with defense and government customers.
