Job summary

Swiss Nexus is recruiting a Forward Deployed Engineer for a client building payments and financial infrastructure.

You’ll own integrations from initial scoping through implementation and go-live, and you’ll help shape the product by translating customer needs into engineering requirements and roadmap priorities.

This role requires strong engineering depth alongside an interest in customer-facing work and technical sales. You’ll work on-site in NYC and travel to customers as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building and shipping integrations with payment systems, financial infrastructure or banking partners.
• Strong coding skills and experience delivering production software.
• Ownership of customer integrations across the full lifecycle.
• Payments knowledge and confidence navigating complex flows of funds.
• Experience consuming APIs and understanding what makes a good integration experience.
• Ability to translate clearly between technical teams and customers.
• Availability to work on-site in NYC five days per week and travel to customers and partners.
