Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to work with Product & Engineering to shape features that extend Stripe integrations. You may build standalone apps deployed in user environments or augment existing teams to deliver faster, more resilient connections to Stripe.

As Stripe creates new capabilities, you will drive direction, take ownership, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure solutions that meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and deploying robust, scalable backend systems.
• Ability to build production applications that align with product goals.
• Strong familiarity with containerized environments and API design.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to relate technical work to business impact.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect robust technical solutions that are secure and scalable.
• Design, build, and deploy production applications with user interfaces and business logic.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align technical work with strategy.
• Drive direction of the Forward Deployed Engineering arm and contribute to key projects.
• Engage with users to understand challenges, requirements, and co-develop solutions.
• Contribute tooling and best practices to scale impact across accounts.
