Job summary

TalentPluto, an early-stage company building AI-powered recruiting infrastructure, is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer in New York, NY. This highly technical, customer-facing role sits between product and clients and focuses on integrations and onboarding.

You will own client onboarding, build integrations with ATS systems, debug data and webhooks, translate client needs into product requirements, and help shape engineering priorities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software engineering, solutions engineering, or related roles.
• Strong fundamentals; able to read and write production code.
• Experience debugging integrations, webhooks, and data pipelines.
• Able to work directly with customers and discuss technical topics.
• Comfort with ambiguity at an early-stage company.
• Judgment on when to fix for one customer vs in product.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding for new clients from first integration to working pipeline.
• Build and maintain integrations with ATS and hiring workflows.
• Debug data, webhooks, and matching end-to-end across stacks.
• Translate client needs into product and engineering requirements.
• Partner with GTM on technical conversations during evaluation.
• Build internal tooling to reduce manual deployment work.
