Express Employment Professionals Tysons, VA is seeking a highly technical Forward Deployed Engineer (Full-Stack) to join our client in New York, NY or San Francisco, CA. You will bridge architecture and client success, delivering custom software solutions directly with customers.

Responsibilities include partnering with enterprise clients, designing and deploying production-grade full-stack apps, and acting as the primary technical contact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science (or a closely related technical field).
• Frontend: React, TypeScript, modern state management.
• Backend: Python and asynchronous frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Django, Flask).
• Data: SQL, relational DB design, query optimization.
• Client-facing engineering or consultative role experience.

We are a top startup seeking a highly technical, client-facing Forward Deployed Engineer (Full-Stack) to join our team in New York, NY or San Francisco, CA. In this high-impact role, you will bridge the gap between technical architecture and client success, building and deploying custom software solutions directly alongside our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner directly with enterprise clients to scope, design, and deploy mission-critical software and data pipelines.
• Architect and build production-ready full-stack applications, integrations, and tools tailored to client environments.
• Write clean, maintainable, and high-performance code across the backend and frontend.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for key customer stakeholders, translating complex business requirements into clear engineering specs.
• Collaborate closely with internal Product and Core Engineering teams to feed customer insights back into our core product roadmap.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science (or a closely related technical field) from a top-tier university.
• Core Technical Stack:
• Backend: Advanced proficiency in Python and asynchronous programming/frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Django, Flask).
• Frontend: Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern state management.
• Data: Deep experience with SQL, complex relational database design, and query optimization.
• Client-Facing Experience: Proven track record in a customer-facing or consultative engineering role (e.g., Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Consulting).
• Technical Rigor: Demonstrated ability to quickly debug complex technical systems in real time under high-stakes conditions.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical tradeoffs to both executive non-technical audiences and deep technical leads.

• Locations: New York, NY or San Francisco, CA (Hybrid / On-site)
• Compensation: $160,000-300,000 + Early-Stage Equity
