Job summary

Clera, based in Miami, seeks a hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer to translate clinical and operational needs into shipped software. You will build customer-facing solutions with TypeScript, React, Deno, Node, and SQL, working closely with clients on every step from requirements to delivery.

The role is on-site in Miami with travel to customer sites; you’ll deploy and operate services on AWS, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to rapid prototyping.

Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript, React, Deno, Node, and AWS.
• Willing to work in person in Miami; open to relocation from anywhere in the U.S.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without employer-sponsored visa.
• Strong customer-facing communication and ability to collaborate with clinical or operational teams.
• High emotional maturity and a reliable, hands-on build style.
• Strong ability to ship reliable software quickly; comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & benefits

Base salary: $80,000–$130,000 annually, with a total compensation target in the range of $120,000–$150,000 when including benefits, equity, and travel‑related allowances where applicable.

Location

Primary location: Miami, Florida, United States. This is an on‑site role with travel to customer sites as needed. Visa sponsorship is not available.
