Job summary

Shapely Labs in the United States is seeking a software engineer to work at the intersection of product, engineering, and the customer, embedding with client teams to understand their PSP workflows and translate them into shipped software.

You will deploy AI into production, integrate data from multiple systems, and ensure real-time reasoning and voice AI operate reliably. Travel to customer sites will be required to represent the technical voice and gather feedback.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong integration skills with APIs and data pipelines.
• Excellent communication and ability to lead technical conversations.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.

You’ll sit with customers, learn their workflows deeply, and turn that into shipped software — living at the intersection of product, engineering, and the customer.

What you’ll do

• Embed with customer teams to understand how they work with patient data day to day
• Deploy AI into real customer environments — ingesting information from many systems and sources
• Get voice AI and real-time reasoning working reliably in production
• Be the technical voice with customers, and their voice back inside the team

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering (Python, TypeScript, Java, C#, or Go)
• Strong integration skills — APIs, data pipelines, third-party platforms (Salesforce a plus)
• Excellent communication; comfortable leading technical conversations with customers
• High agency, and willing to travel to customer sites as needed

Nice to have

• LLM / agentic workflow experience (RAG, tool use, evals)
• Healthcare data experience (HIPAA, PHI, FHIR/HL7)
• Familiarity with pharma patient support, hub, or specialty pharmacy
