Job summary

Edison Scientific is seeking a Forward-Deployed Clinical Operations Subject Matter Expert to join our team onsite with pharma and biotech partners or fully remote with travel. You will ensure AI agents draft protocol sections that meet regulatory standards and align with real-world trial execution.

You will evaluate agent performance on trial design tasks, partner with client operations teams to integrate AI into planning and execution, and provide operational feedback to improve our platform’s

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in clinical operations or clinical development within pharma/biotech.
Strong knowledge of GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements for trials.
Experience designing Phase I–III trials with study design and protocol development.
Ability to travel domestically 20–40% of the time.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and improve AI agent performance on clinical operations tasks including protocol development and study design.
Design benchmarks and acceptance criteria for clinical trial focused AI workflows.
Partner with client clinical operations and development teams to integrate AI into trial planning and execution.
Serve as the clinical operations authority on AI outputs, assessing feasibility, GCP compliance, and real-world alignment.
Collaborate daily with Forward Deployed Engineers and Computational Biologists on each account.
Support engagement scoping, success metrics, and technical evaluation with GTM.
