Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Cybersecurity Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with a client’s security and engineering teams, delivering secure, governance-driven AI deployments in real environments. You will own outcomes such as reduced attack surface and measurable security posture improvements, using Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot as primary tools.

The role is part of Accenture’s Reinvention Delivery Engine (RDE) Pod, operating in 90‑day cycles, with travel up to the client’s needs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years engineering in production with a cybersecurity focus.
• 2+ years hands-on in agentic AI production deployments.
• 8+ years end-to-end security delivery in client-embedded environments.
• 8+ years cloud security experience with IAM/network/secrets.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI security architecture and threat modeling for production agentic deployments.
• Develop AI-powered detection, threat response tooling, and governance automation.
• Oversee AI threat surface management across client workstreams.
• Architect and govern security controls across enterprise stack (IAM, data, model serving).
• Govern AI governance frameworks and risk-driven investment roadmaps.
• Define reusable security patterns and accelerators for multiple engagements.
• Lead architecture sessions, threat modeling, and code-with sessions with client teams.
• Provide cybersecurity domain expertise across AppSec, SecOps, IAM, cloud, or GRC.
