Job summary

Accenture seeks a Cybersecurity Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with a client’s security and engineering teams and deliver secure, governable AI deployments.

You will work with Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot to build security tooling, threat models, and governance frameworks, owning outcomes from design to production.

Travel may be required; the role covers AI security across complex enterprise environments and production AI systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years engineering in production with cybersecurity depth in one area (AppSec, SecOps, cloud security, IAM, pen testing, or GRC)
• 1+ year hands-on with agentic AI solutions in production; no theory only
• 3+ years cloud security fundamentals (IAM, network, secrets, AI service configs) across AWS/Azure/GCP
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (12+ years) required; associate degree requires 6+ years

Responsibilities

• Support AI security architecture and threat modeling for production deployments
• Deliver hands-on security engineering using agentic coding tools
• Manage AI threat surface at program scale (OWASP LLM Top 10, prompt hardening, etc.)
• Architect AI security controls across the enterprise stack (IAM, data pipelines, model serving)
• Assist with AI governance frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF)
• Shape AI reinvention security strategy for client leaders
• Define reusable security patterns and accelerators
• Support architecture design sessions and threat modeling workshops
