Job summary

SAP is seeking a Forward Deployed AI/ML Principal Engineer in New York to design, build, and operate AI-native enterprise applications embedded within customer environments. You will own technical delivery from discovery through deployment, ensuring secure, scalable solutions with SAP standards.

You will work with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust architectures, prototype rapidly, and drive production readiness and operational excellence across platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on software and application engineering in cloud-native, enterprise, and SaaS environments.
• Proven ability to design and deliver AI-native applications using LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and agentic systems.
• Strong proficiency with AI/ML Python libraries and data pipelines; MLOps exposure.
