Job summary

Mem0, a YC-backed startup building memory infrastructure for AI agents, is seeking an engineer to embed with strategic customer accounts in San Francisco. You will ship integrations of Mem0’s APIs, prototype solutions, and own the technical relationship with high-value clients.

You will translate field learnings into roadmap inputs and build reusable tooling, collaborating closely with Engineering, Sales and Customer Success.

Qualifications

• 4+ years shipping production software with APIs/SDKs into customer-facing systems.
• Strong Python fundamentals; full-stack exposure for APIs, data pipelines, and frontend where needed.
• Experience working directly with external customers in technical roles (solutions engineering, forward deployed, or consulting).
• Comfortable with ambiguity and rapidly changing scope; thrives with new problems and little context.
• Strong communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for onsite customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Embed with customers post-sale to design, build, and ship integrations of Mem0's memory APIs into AI agents and products.
• Rapidly prototype and productionize custom solutions for high-value customers, from retrieval config to pipelines.
• Own the technical relationship with strategic accounts: troubleshoot production issues and serve as the escalation point.
• Translate field learnings into roadmap input: identify recurring integration gaps for Engineering/Research.
• Build reusable tooling, sample apps, and reference implementations to shrink time-to-value for the next customer.
• Partner with Sales and Customer Success on scoping, technical wins, and expansion opportunities.
