Job summary

Turing is seeking a Forward-Deployed AI Engineer for Enterprise AI in Los Angeles. You will drive client-facing AI solutions with end-to-end ownership, building production systems and directly shaping architecture with senior client leaders.

Role requires 8+ years of experience, deep production engineering expertise, and hands-on AI tooling. In-office engagement is typical, with client sites and onsite collaboration.

Qualifications

• Deep production engineering experience with Python, backend systems, APIs, databases, distributed systems, system design, and cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on agentic AI experience with orchestration, tool use, context engineering, memory & state, retrieval, and multistep workflows.
• End-to-end ownership of complex AI systems from architecture through deployment and scale.

Responsibilities

• Find the problem worth solving by working with customers to uncover high-value opportunities and translate needs into technical direction.
• Architect and build production AI systems including multi-agent workflows, orchestration, tool use, and RAG strategies.
• Own the outcome by guiding solutions from discovery through deployment, with emphasis on evaluation, observability, security, and cost.
• Collaborate with clients in-office to deliver quantifiable impact and write the playbook for enterprise AI delivery.
