Job summary

Turing is hiring a Forward-Deployed AI Engineer for Enterprise AI in Los Angeles. You will own outcomes end to end—from discovery through deployment—building production AI systems, multi-agent workflows, and robust architectures for enterprise clients.

We seek deep production engineering experience (8+ years), hands-on agentic AI work, and the ability to lead with technical depth while collaborating with senior client leaders. In-office role, three to five days per week.

Qualifications

• Typically 8+ years building and operating sophisticated software systems, with expertise in Python, backend systems, APIs, databases, distributed systems, system design, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience building production LLM and agent systems using orchestration, tool use, context engineering, memory and state, retrieval, and multistep workflows.
• End-to-end systems ownership with a track record from architecture through deployment and scale, including observability, reliability, and cost.

Responsibilities

• Own the outcome for client engagements and lead solutions from discovery through deployment.
• Write production-grade AI systems with multi-agent orchestration, tool use, and memory/state management.
• Provide strong customer and technical leadership, communicating clearly with stakeholders and executives.
