Job summary

Digital Hands seeks an experienced Network Security Administrator II, Fortinet Firewall Specialist, to join our SOC. You will design, implement, and optimize Fortinet solutions for enterprise customers, collaborating with client teams and vendors to sustain strong security postures.

The role requires 7+ years with Fortinet technologies, enterprise firewall expertise, and MSSP/SOC background in a fast‑paced environment. Onsite in Tampa, FL.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing enterprise firewall environments.
• Hands‑on knowledge of FortiGate, FortiManager, and Fortinet security technologies.
• Experience in SOC/MSSP or security services‑focused orgs.
• Strong understanding of DNS, SSL/TLS, NAT, VPN/IPSec and related protocols.
• Familiarity with multiple firewall vendors (Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco, Juniper).
• Exposure to WAF, SD‑WAN, SASE, vulnerability management and security monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Administer, support and optimize customer firewall infrastructures.
• Implement network security controls and policy deployments.
• Serve as a technical advisor to client IT and security teams.
• Monitor health of security solutions; create alerts and dashboards.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and improve operations.
• Contribute to SOPs, documentation and business continuity planning.
